DIY Replacing Front Brakes 98 GMC Jimmy

Ceramic Brake pads 4 Comments »

Just a quick video showing how easy it is to replace Brake Pads on a Jimmy or most any vehicle really. Blazer, S10, Sonoma, and Bravada are basically the same process.

People pay hundreds of dollars to have this done and I don’t understand why!

The ceramic pads were $43 (regular pads are only $20) and it took about 15 minutes a side. It took longer to gather the tools and wait for the compressor to charge than it did to do the job!

You CAN do these simple jobs with basic hand tools, a jack, and a little know how. It really is just that easy. Stop paying Midas or Monroe hundreds of dollars for a $50 repair !!!!!!
