hay man theres a bleeder nipple on the brakes itself so you shouldnt need to take the reservoir lid off untill you need to fill. if i seen correctly the bleeder nipple is rite above the hose line.

you do know since the fluid shoot out like that your gonna need to bleed your breaks now im not trying to be mean but you would have been way better off bringing it to a shop of asking for help from someone whos done it before breaks are not something you want to trial and error on.

Hey , I’m kind of a noob. Do the holder shafts need to be removed with the Allen wrench? And how do you tighten them to spec with a torque wrench? Can you connect the torque wrench to the allen wrench?

you can use clamps or a pair of channellocks too…your choice! nice job though…a lot of people dont tackle these kinda jobs.
best way to push the pistons back in, or at least an easy way, is to use the old pads and a screwdriver. that way you get even pressure on the cylinders and avoid pushing them in unevenly. just an FYI for later jobs
