Are brake checks usually free? What is a good price to change brake pads?

Brake Pads should run you no more than 50…100 for 4 wheels….thats the total cost cause brakes are easy to fix

I would Call around and get a bunch of estimates .The go fet them in WRITING.
The low guy will advertize some outragesley low price for the "BRAKE PADS" but then they will get the shop charge and find something mysteriously wrong that will cost ytou extra and you might have to go back 2 0r 3 times to actually get your car repaired.
I would think not the most expensive but middle of the road someone who can gaurtee their work in writing. You should see about spending a couple extra bucks on the actual brake pad 's that they put on the car Because the more expensive brake pads usually are better quality and last longer and stop faster than the cheapO kind .
Saves money in the long run.
