Hawk Brake Pads March 16th, 2009My car is fwd if I just replace the front Brake Pads for now cause there worn will I be OK?
I ask this because im upgrading this v6 sports cars brake pads to Hawk HPS ones because I drive fast and go to track allot.
Since Im low on money this month can I wait on back brakes since there still plenty of meat on them.

If your getting any brake pedal pulsation now due to warped front rotors, I'd bring the rotors into Pep Boys and see if they could be turned down (eight dollars each). Just do the front pads.

Yeah,should be fine.(if it ain`t broke,don`t fix it!) If you have to keep replacing brake pads,sounds like you `drive on your brakes`

The rear brakes are secondary brakes. Also there used for the parking brake. I have changed the front and not the rear with no problems as long as there isnt any grinding noises going on.
