I am buying x-drilled and slotted brembo rotors, Hawk HPS pads, Stainless steel braided lines and installing them all. Is it worth the extra $120 to also get rear rotors when buy the front ones. I know 70% of braking is done by the front via weight transfer.

I do occasionally bring this car to the track when I can not afford to race in the Skip Barber series. I am also putting a new lower suspension my car, and new high performace tires (Toyo T1R ??), and rear sway bar.

FYI the car is only a 03, Honda Accord Cpe, 6 spd.

upgrading to the better rotors is to prevent "brake fade" meaning they won't heat up as quickly and loose their grabbing force.

Having good rear brakes on your car, designed to help prevent brake fade (such as slotted/drilled rotors) will keep your braking equal – and should your front brakes begin to fade, your rear brakes will start taking over more than the 30% (average) breaking – and to have those fade could mean severe consequences while at the track.

I'd say upgrade 'em all at the same time, it's worth the money, especially since you take the car to the track.

is my story good so far? easy to read!!?
