I drive 2006 Acura Touring MDX, am thinking new Ceramic Brake pads v.s. what ever Acura recommends. What shops carries the better ceramic brake pads like Hawkins.

If Your vehicle manufacturer reccomends a certian brake pad,oil,coolant,battery….. then it is a good idea to stay with that product. These reccomendations come from months or even years of testing by the company. If you still want the ceramic Brake Pads you can never go wrong with autozone. they can give you a price and tell you whats best for your car. Truth be told every brake company uses the same press and same machining to make their pads. DONT BE FOOLED BY BRAND NAMES!! they say toyotas are the best cars but look at them now.

Are Autozone's Premium-Ceramic Brake-Pads as Good as what Came in my 2000 Z28?!?
