I have 57k mi on my Z28. Yes, they are the Original Pads!! <:^D
(Highway Miles, Obviously!!)
I have Noticed that Recently they feel a little Different. No Squealing yet, but the Rotors look like the Area where the Pads Normally Rub appears abit smaller.

I know I should Change the Pads here this Spring, and I know how to do it.
But, where should I go to get New Pads, that will Last as Long as the Factory Pads did?!?

I am Aware that they are Probably Ceramic Pads, but the GM Dealer charges INCREDIBLY TOO Much for me to Justify Buying from Them.
I have Changed Brake-pads for People, and have Personally found Ceramic-Pads to Last Longer on Cars. The Pads I get for People come from AutoZone.

I know that there are Expensive Brake-Pads out there that are around $100 a Set, but I am wondering if they are Worth it.
At AutoZone, the Premium-Ceramic Pads are $60 a Set for the Front.

So Ultimately, are the AutoZone Ceramic Pads as Good as what Came with my 2000 Camaro Z28?!? What do You Recommend I use in my Factory Calipers?!?

yes, the cerammic pads will last longer than your factory ones will. ive seen many with over 65,000 on them and we have a fleet of gm trucks. its all i use on them now. you’ll be happy with autozones pads. i put them on both my vehicles too!! happy braking

do ceramic brake pads work as well cold ,as they do hot,?
